Work Days: 5-days/week
Work Hours: 8:00am-1:00pm
Compensation: $24,600.00 + benefits
The successful Classroom Teaching Assistant at Corlears will:

fostering student independence
● Be flexible with interpreting and adapting lesson plans
● Possess effective interpersonal communication skills with colleagues, students, and families
● Reflect on practices, in partnership with administration and faculty, and make adjustments as needed
The key responsibilities for the Classroom Teaching Assistant entail:
● Interface with families, caregivers, and classroom teachers
● Assist with tasks that support the overall management and functioning of the classroom including:
○ diapering/toileting
○ handwashing
○ snack/meal assistance
○ supervision
○ administrative tasks (photocopying, organizing, etc.)
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience supervising and supporting young children
● Evidence of caretaking and responding to young children in a developmentally appropriate manner
● Current Fingerprinting and background checks required upon hire
● Current Medical Physical, including record of completed COVID-19 vaccine or confirmed medical/religious exemption
● Following safety certifications (by start date):
○ CPR/AED Training
○ SIDS Training
○ Child Abuse and Maltreatment Training
