Description:

Position entails a 40-hour a week commitment, Monday - Friday, and is a 12 month position. We offer a package of paid time off including vacation time, sick time, and federal holidays.

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift, Monday-Friday, 12 months

Responsibilities:

Essential functions of the job

  • Plan, prepare and deliver daily lesson plans and instructional materials for students in a small group
  • Help students if extra assistance is needed
  • Use relevant technology to support instruction
  • Communicate necessary information regularly to students, and parents regarding progress and needs
  • Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use information to adjust teaching strategies
  • Updating daily attendance and creating daily session reports

Qualifications:

  • B.A/B.S degree from an accredited institution
  • NY State Teaching Certification
Minimum Education Level: NYS Teacher Certification
Preferred Education Level: NYS Teacher Certification
