Description:

This position is for Assistant Teacher in a dual language preschool classroom for the 2024-2025 School Year. The work year is August 26, 2024 through end of June 20, 2025, with a potential opportunity to work Summer Program. Assistant Teachers are expected to plan and implement high quality education experiences with language enrichment for young children under the direction and supervision of the Head Teachers. Assistant Teachers work on a team which includes Head Teachers, other Assistant Teachers and the Directors. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in both English and Spanish, will have extensive experience with young children, and be enrolled in an Early Childhood Education or related field program. Assistant teachers should be prepared for extensive staff development.

Hours would be 8AM-1PM.

Qualifications:

Group childcare experience is a must. The ideal candidate will be bilingual (Spanish-English) and will have a CDA or have at least completed some early childhood education coursework.

Minimum Education Level: Highschool Graduate or GED

Preferred Education Level: CDA Credential
