Description:

  • The lead teacher will plan and carry out lessons and daily routines according to the class schedule.  We are using Frog Street curriculum for Toddlers and The Creative Curriculum for Preschool which offer a variety of activities to lead children through intentional experiences, fostering growth in language, cognition, social/emotional skills and physical development.  The lead will work closely with her/his assistant to create a positive, caring and clean environment for the children in their care.  

Qualifications:

The candidates will have either a Child Development Certificate or an Associates degree in Early Childhood Education.  Applicants should be familiar with best practice for young children and the OCFS regulations in the State of New York.

Minimum Education Level: CDA Credential
Preferred Education Level: Associate's Degree
