Description:

The Toddler Lead Teacher will be responsible for facilitating a program that encourages healthy developmental growth in young children. The Lead Teacher must ensure the classroom is organized, stimulating and adheres to state safety regulations for daycare centers. The Lead Teacher will be respectful of children and parents, and ensure that equipment and facilities are clean, safe and well maintained. The Lead Teacher will also be responsible for incorporating Christian themes that will include prayer, bible lessons, music, etc.

Responsibilities:

The responsibilities include  the implementation of a developmentally appropriate Toddler program for young children, communicating with parents, maintaining program administration Continued Education and Training as directed by the Office of Children and Family Services and ensuring classroom maintenance. 

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Must have a high school diploma complete CDA
  • Experience: Previous teaching experience or experience working with children.
  • Personal Qualifications: Need to be friendly and inviting. Need to adapt easily and enjoy learning.
Minimum Education Level: Associate's Degree
Preferred Education Level: CDA Credential
