Tolentine Zeiser Community Life Center is a community-based organization that contracted with the DOE to provide 3K and PreK services.
The Education Director is responsible for the coordination, implementation, and evaluation of educational programs and curriculum.
Training of teaching and other staff, and supervision of teaching staff.
Ensure compliance with Department of Education standards and Health Department regulations.
Education Directors overseeing 3-K and Pre-K must have all of the following credentials:
- Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field of study.
- Teaching license or certificate valid for services in early childhood or childhood grades pursuant to New York State Universal Prekindergarten (UPK) regulations; and
- At least two years of lead teacher experience in a program for children less than six years of age.
- Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
- Preferred Education Level: Master's Degree
