Franchesca’s Daycare is seeking a dedicated and nurturing Lead Teacher to provide high-quality care and learning experiences for young children. The Lead Teacher will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment that promotes each child’s growth across all learning domains.
Ideal candidates have experience in early childhood education, a strong sense of responsibility, and a genuine love for kids.
Key Responsibilities:
- implement daily lesson plans and activities that support early learning and school readiness
- Maintain a warm, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
- Observe and assess each child’s development, sharing updates with families
- Supervise and guide assistant teachers and support staff in the classroom
- Ensure classroom safety, cleanliness, and compliance with daycare licensing regulations
- Communicate effectively with families, providing updates and building strong partnerships
- Attend staff meetings, trainings, and contribute to the overall success of the daycare
- Associate Degree or sole college credits (preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with young children
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Passionate, dependable, and team-oriented
- Minimum Education Level: CDA Credential (with credit-bearing certificate)
- Preferred Education Level: CDA Credential (with credit-bearing certificate)
